ADVANCED TRANSCATHETER SOLUTIONS BOOSTING THE SUCCESS IN RESTORING THE AORTIC VALVE FUNCTION
AorticLab is committed to provide medical and technological innovations developing next generation devices for a safe and effective transcatheter treatment of the stenotic aortic native valve
AORTIC VALVE STENOSIS PATIENT COHORT
Nowadays with the extension of the transcatheter valve implant procedures to the intermediate risk patients’ cohort, TAVI procedures must demonstrate to be even safer in respect to the past. The occurrence of periprocedural clinical complications associated to TAVI procedures is not negligible and they are correlated to the heavily calcified native aortic valve left in place.
A device capturing all embolic debris, directed towards the brain vessels and peripheral vascular districts may improve the TAVI procedure outcomes.
Despite the introduction and expansion of the TAVI procedures, many patients suffering from severe aortic valve stenosis are currently untreated.
A transcatheter aortic valve procedure to functionally restore stenotic aortic valves at optimal cost/benefit ratio and without implanting a new heart valve prosthesis could be the next generation of stenotic aortic valve procedures.
